Meet The Owner
Wilmer Glick
Eppis Tech is built upon a lifelong passion for machinery and a deep-rooted understanding of the manufacturing world. Growing up immersed in my father’s 4,000 square foot machine shop, I witnessed firsthand the creation of custom solutions for local industries, from specialized drilling machines for lawn furniture to intricate equipment for PVC fencing and storage shed manufacturers. This early exposure instilled in me not only an appreciation for how things are built but also the practical skills to work with them.
My journey continued with experiences that honed my precision and mechanical aptitude, from carefully handling glass to the structural understanding gained in framing houses. This diverse background led me to the world of CAD design, where I quickly became proficient in SolidWorks, streamlining the design process for a local farm equipment manufacturer.
In 2016, I partnered with my father to establish Performance Automation, where we continued the tradition of building custom machinery. Recognizing the need for a more consistent and specialized service, I founded Eppis Tech.
This new venture led to the acquisition of Jackson Industrial Machine Services, inheriting a legacy of expertise in bandsaw service and repair. Ralph Jackson, the former owner, built his business on years of experience with DoAll and a proactive approach to preventive maintenance. Eppis Tech proudly carries forward this dedication, combining a rich history of hands-on experience with a commitment to providing reliable and expert bandsaw service and repair.
In addition, Eppis Tech has recently acquired Riehl Steel, a manufacturing company known for its 40 years of reliable machine expertise with a variety of machines including a Birdsmouth Notcher, Truss Press, Door Press, and Live Edge Lumber Edger. We look forward to carrying on Riehl Steel’s commitment to excellence for the shed builder, sawmill and woodworking industries.
